Wednesday, August 29th, was quite a day. We awoke early to get to the hospital for Amy's induction. When we arrived we had to wait a bit because there were no rooms available - I attribute this to the full moon and lunar eclipse. While waiting we got to eat breakfast in the new Dining Center (whatever happened to the good, old Cafeteria?) and read exciting articles in National Geographic.

Once power was restored to the hospitals and the surrounding area, they re-started Amy's IV drip and labor ensued.
A few hours later we met our precious Olivia Anne. Some numbers:
Born - August 29th, 2007, 6:17 pm. 8 lb. 9 oz. 20 in.

Ohhhhh. We've been patiently awaiting the pictures. And, I might say the wait was worth it...she's a beauty! Amy you are a beauty as well. You look so great. We hope all is well. If we can do anything, please let us know. Congrats!!!!
