Pictures Of The House

Here are the pictures you have asked for. We moved in today and then Jay and I attended a dinner this evening, so the pictures were fast and furious. But hopefully it will give you an idea of where we now live. The pictures all make the walls and tile look kind of yellow, but they are all a khaki color. Please excuse all of the boxes and junk!

Looking through the door into our bedroom

same

standing by the head of the bed

into the master bath...our closets on either side of the entryway

looking onto the patio from our bedroom (this is the door behind Isaac in a photo above)

living area

kitchen...open to living area

more kitchen...yes, the walls are green but not as bright of a green as the pictures make it look

The previous owners took the pantry out when they opened the kitchen up to the living room. So they added these cabinets and another counter top with cabinets. Also, the cabinets almost look black in these photos, but they are really a deep brown.
dining area behind the living area (and looking into the master) Again, the floor and walls are not that yellow.

Standing in the living room and looking into the formal living and towards the front door

formal living (the walls aren't blue...just the light coming from the front door.)

guest room (we had to get all new carpet in the bedrooms thanks to a pet that once lived here...yuck!)

stepping out of the guest room and looking down the hallway towards the boys room (to the right of the box) and into Olivia's room

boys room...walls aren't green

the boys make their own beds. :)

bathroom

Olivia's room...her walls are green in preparation for her new fun bedding.

You can see outside of Olivia's room into the kitchen.

still Liv's room...she has two closets

the back patio from the other door through the kitchen...we had to rip carpet out of the patio and we plan on staining the concrete

Amy, I am just now getting onto my blog in awhile--and I always forget about yours because it doesn't update!! But I love your new place. I especially like your patio out back--what a useful, useful space. Are you getting settled yet?

Mom- We are really unpacked, but still so much more to go!

Sandra- Thank you!

Lindsey- Come on.

Noelle- Thanks, and we are also glad that we got it. Whew!

Tamra- The patio is my favorite part, but I still have not spent time out there. It needs lots of work...it'll happen. And thanks for remembering my birthday, spilt milk and all. :)

Sybil- I know. I feel kind of grown-up in this house. Kind of.

Mindy- Thanks, you are always so sweet about telling me my house feels warm.

Jean- I also LOVE the colors!

Kara- OH! You know that I would love to see you so much!! I hope that it works out.

Kedra- Thank you!

Kayla- I do like how open it is. It kind of reminds me of our house in Dalhart, sort of (it also reminds me of your first house in Dalhart. :))

Rachel- I'm glad we waited to buy. It does fit us very well.

Dawn- Oh to have you guys over for dinner! I'd love it!!!

Jay- Did you send that card to Jana?????

Marcy- We are getting settled. The house has taken a little more time to feel like home because we have so much work to do on it. But it is starting to happen!

Jana- I had to laugh that you took him up on the game. I told him that you meant it when you won...you did wear cow costumes to Chick-fil-a and all! :)
By the way, had we been in town, we would have also dressed like cows.

Katy- We have lots of room for your whole family! Come one and all. But I still want a girl's weekend.

Sarah- I think it's funny that I keep getting comments on the bathroom because I didn't really take a picture of the bathroom. what everyone doesn't know is that the bathroom is PINK!! haha

Janis- Thank you! We really like it!
