Today

Olivia looking at her picture from Andi. Thanks, Andi and Joshua! All of the kids were so excited about their pictures!

Oh, so peaceful.

She could draw or color all day long. I love having a girl. :)

working on a masterpiece

Her car needed a little beautifying.

I LOVE this picture because when I first looked at it, I saw my Papa Sanders in my daughter. He always made this same face (with his lip sticking out). My mom also makes the face, and so do I.

That is one dirty, happy girl.

pink chubby fingers

A friend dropped by our house and asked Olivia if she happened to eat some of the chalk, too. haha

Mother, please!

She found a buddy.

Oh my.

Notice that all of my kids have their hands in their mouths.
We make a funny voice for the grandma character in the book. Every time we talk like her, Olivia shudders and whimpers and says, "No." It's funny and sad at the same time.
Oh, and yes, we did get the boys' hair cut. I hated Josiah's last cut and told the lady to just even his hair out so that we can grow it out again. His hair hasn't been this short since he was 2 years old. Tonight he carried Olivia across the room, and I thought, "Wow! It is a baby carrying a baby." He looks so much younger with his ears lowered. :)

I love that beautiful little masterpiece with chalk all over her! Yep, she's got the Sanders lip!
I can't believe Siah's haircut---pretty cute!!
I could hear that bedtime reading in my mind and picture Liv shuddering. Thanks for the new photos!
So glad the pictures made it safely to you guys. Joshua really fascinated by your boys and Andi sounds so cute saying, "Olivia." We will have to meet somewhere in Georgia one of these days.
Also, Andi loves to color her car with chalk. Amazing how much they all have in common.
Oh how sweet....I love that I have a girl too. Paige has already started coloring on Ryan's magnadoodle and with the sidewalk chalk. I think Ryan just started doing it like 2 weeks ago! ha! Amazing the differences...
Love it! Her new dress is to die for by the way. Adorable! Great pics Amy, but please have your kids keep their hands out of their mouths. You might end up with a house like our full of the flu :)
Josiah looks SO different with that hair cut!
Miss O looks adorable in her church dress or in her chalk painting attire. Her hair is getting so long. The boys haircuts are cute. Josiah looks a
little more grown up with his new "doo". Pigs in the Mud. . .is one of my favorite books. All ages seem to enjoy it from Pre-K to 3rd grade(or even adults), but I know you and Jay love to get into the expression and intonation.
I know I say this all the time, but man, you capture some great moments!! You're a great picture taker!!!! I love O's dress, and Josiah's haircut TOTALLY changes his little look.
She is so beautiful, just like you Amy! Love all the funny things you blog about Isaac and Josiah!
I love the one of Liv laying on the driveway. So precious! And I like their short hair. I'm not used to seeing Siah with his hair that short! Miss you!
Kirkley was working on a chalk masterpiece the other day too - only she really did eat the chalk! Blue chalk for snack - yum!
Precious pictures! Olivia is beautiful!! And the boys are growing so much! Crazy!
I'm slightly jealous of the fact that your kids are playing outside...in shorts....in late October. Ah, Florida. :)
Okay...gotta look up the mud in the rud book...sounds like a hit! I'm loving the facial expression! You should check your library for "Are you a Horse?" by: Andy Rash. Funny stuff...expressive read...good illustrations. I think your boys would like it! ;)
Mom- We'll have to make her shudder when you come. You'll make us stop. ha
Jana- We could meet at Chick-fil-a. :)
Mindy- YES! She even plays with the blocks that the boys wouldn't spend more than 10 minutes with. Hmmm...
Tamra- I feel so bad for you family. But I'm glad to hear that they were well enough to go out in their costumes last night!
Jean- I think the book actually came from your stash. :)
Marcy- Thank you! And Josiah's hair cut does make him look older. I've really noticed how much taller he is now.
Allison- Thank you, that's very sweet. And I sure wish I could keep up with all of the things they say. They are a mess.
Lindsey- Ha. She really gets into coloring. It's serious business.
Dawn- Kirkley is SO CUTE! I wish I could meet her. I just know that one day I'll get the privilege!
Kayla- Thanks for the suggestion. I'll definitely look for it.
