Josiah came in the house yelling, "A snake is eating a toad!!"
This toad has been our porch friend since we moved into the house.
Sorry, Mr. Toad. It was nice knowing you.

I think the whole process took about an hour. We watched most of the time, in awe.

How on earth is he going to fit him?!

Gulp!
If you care to look closely, you can see the toad inside of his mouth.

As if nothing even happened.

Glad you had a good meal. Please don't come back soon.

That is so cool that your kids were able to see this live! This is stuff most of us only get to see on nature documentaries on TV!!! WOW!!!
Oh, I would've paid money to see that! How cool! What great nature study!!
I hope that was a zoom lens!
Uh, I am totally grossed out. Oh yes a wonderful nature lesson, but really. Was the frog paralyzed? Could it not kick the snake in the eye and hop away? I mean, the nerve of the snake publically eating like that. Bleeeechhhh. So gross.
