Lala (Lindsey) is here!! She had not been to the beach since she was 4 years old. So yesterday, we made her dream come true. :) I don't know who had more fun...Lindsey, the kids, or Jay and I watching Lindsey and the kids.
Lindsey's first step in...
She and Isaac spent most of their time together jumping waves. They ended up pretty far out in the water (for Isaac it was far).
Josiah didn't care as much for the waves. He stayed back with me.
See the pure excitement in her face? Thanks for a fun time, Lala!! We love you!

The beach looks beautiful and looks like Lala had a blast! Wave jumping--what exercise!!! What brand of sunscreen do you use? The kids never look too dark. Wish I was there.
Ahh the beach...Just wishing we could be in paradise too! (:
It is funny that her "name" is Lala because Klein calls Kae-Lynn Layla. So cute!
So glad Aunt LaLa got to go to the beach while she's there! David reminded me he hasn't been since he was a baby. Guess you can tell I wasn't fond of the sun! Have fun in Florida, LaLa!
Ahhhhhhhhhhh I miss the beach so much! So glad Lindsey could experience it again.
I miss the beach. It was so fun. What's really cool is after July I will have visited beaches on both sides of the country. Haven't done that since college. Amy, it's good to see your hair in tip top condition. You must be getting used to the humidity. And a bathing suit. You're becoming a beach mama. I love that Olivia hasn't worn the same suit yet. Sadie has that problem too!
That looks like so much fun...wish we were close to the beach...
Ok, so Shanna and I now have to make a trip to florida. We miss you guys!! I know we'll see you in July, but we need more! I like the house!
Looks like so much fun...are you booking reservations for your new bed & breakfast? (aka - The Wright House) :)
Your beach trips make me jealous! LOL How very fun!! And ya'll are going to have an awesome tan this summer! ;)
Ok....enough grace. It's time to blog again.
Jean- I don't know what brand I use. But I slather it on them while they whine about how they hate sunscreen. Then I tell them that they will thank me one day. Isn't that what parents are supposed to say?
Dawn- I wish I could fly your family down here. We'd have fun. :)
Isn't it funny how kids come up with their own names for other people? My whole family is filled with different names thanks to Isaac. I think everyone had fun with it and let him call them what he wanted. Then we made it stick. Gee, Buff, Mum-Z, Um-D, Uncle Joy and Lala.
Mom- Tell David that he can come watch the kids next time. heehee
Kara- The beach misses you!
Rachel- Yes, I finally broke down and bought a new suit...since I swim more than twice a year here. ha! And Olivia is not wanting! Have fun in Cali!
Sarah- It is so much fun. Have your kids ever been to the beach?
Zach- We'll have a guest room now!!! And I know you have been to Florida twice now and didn't come and see us! hehe...sorry, couldn't help it.
Mindy- Don't you know it! I'll sign you up.
Kayla- Well, tan comes in freckles around these parts. A little girl looked at my arms the other day and commented on how many freckles I had. When I was little I held out hope that they'd all grow together to form a tan. haha
Mom- I did, just for you. but it's pretty lame. :)
Ok, so I finally figured out how to log into your blog!!!!! I got to brag on the beach! Thanks for posting this, and thanks again for an awesome time. I miss those kids (and you). Oh, and Jay. Love you!
