Goodbye Best Friends

Today was the last t-ball game of the season. Isaac really enjoys anything that he participates in, and t-ball was no exception. As we were leaving the field, he pointed to a boy on his team and said, "Mom, see that boy over there? He's my new friend and I'm really going to miss him." I asked his new friends' name. He shrugged his shoulders and said, "I don't know." I noticed the orange bat in the boys' hand and figured that's why Isaac liked him so much. (He always used his orange bat--Dawn, you influenced him so much. :))

Josiah also said goodbye to his new friend, Lacey. They really became bug chasing buddies. The two of them departed with a great big hug and hopes of running into each other at the pool. And somehow they scored cupcakes with the team. (If you look close enough to the photo of Isaac above, you'll see blue icing in his ear. How does this happen?)

I love Isaac and how emotional he is---even when he doesn't know the person. ha! And I love how random Josiah is---I love how he's looking at his shadow...easily entertained! Ike, I'm so proud of your 2 homeruns to finish the season up and your medal! WOW! You're the man!

And I hope all those stains came out of that special shirt! That group picture made me nostalgic---reminds me of all the ball pictures I've got tucked away of the boys!

Isaac! You are such a sweetheart! I love that he has good friends and doesn't even know their names! :) Those Tball action shots were pretty awesome, too! He looks like a star player! Way to Go!

Oh I love it! I love that sweaty hair they have from the great Florida humidity. Can't Jay share some of his humidity control hair products with his sons?
We really do love watching kids play baseball. I bet Isaac did GREAT!

Oh, if I could only influence people in other ways...I don't know like maybe leading someone to Christ or simply making their day better, but no, I influence people's color choices! Guess that's better than not influencing at all! Ha! (I'd have used the orange bat too!!) (:

Jean- They actually play two seasons of sports around here (fall and spring soccer...fall and spring baseball...etc.) Isaac won't find out about that. ha
