Olivia Is Two

Today we celebrated the second birthday of Olivia "Princess" Wright. We had such a fun day as a family and enjoyed singing "Happy Birthday" about 20 times to our favorite little girl.

fast asleep (sorry about the flash, Liv)

For a mom, can it get any better than this?

I like this, too.

doubling up on grandparent gifts...tutu from Papa and Nana...apron from Buff and Gee

She really likes musical cards.

Cheesecake Factory lunch...in her tutu. She tried to also wear her apron in, but we talked her into leaving it in the car. It was about 99 degrees today.

She didn't understand why she couldn't just start eating with the candle burning. She could care less about the candle...just wanted the food!

eating birthday dinner in her apron/bib

She loved it!

Olivia Anne, you have brought so much joy into my life. I can't imagine being a mommy without you. You are such a bright spot in our family and really live up to the meaning of your name, "Peaceful One". You are busy, loud, and sometimes cranky, but you bring peace into our home in so many ways.
I have loved watching you turn into a little girl and develop such a great personality. You rarely meet a stranger and always have a "hello" for anyone you meet. It's so fun to see how you make people smile just by the way you walk or grin your adorable grin.
Your brothers absolutely adore you. They would do anything for you, even give you their food. You hold them in the palm of your hand and all three of you like it that way. :)
I love how you reach for me and sometimes stick out your sweet, chubby arms towards your daddy. He likes it, too. I love how you lay your head on my shoulder when I pick you up. I love the way you say "shoes", "more", "two", "Bubba", "shew shew", "chair", "fish", "drink", "please", "thank you", "you're welcome"...in your cute little way.
You make me such a happy momma. I love you more than you'll ever know. You are my sugar bear. "My Momma". Happy 2nd Birthday, Baby Girl.

Miss Olivia---you are just adorable! I love the tutu that Nana got you--you're so pretty in it! And I'm so glad Mommy & Daddy let you wear it to the Cheesecake Factory! I'm sure you turned heads. And I'm glad you like the apron (mommy picked it out--I thought she made a good choice!). You're such a little princess, Olivia. Olivia and her brother, Bubba, and her other brother, Bubba. I can't believe you're TWO! Thank you for letting us watch you open your present this morning. I love you, Sweet Pea!

I am a bit of a softy when it comes to two year old girls. This was so sweet to read and see. I especially love to princess gown. We got the same one for Andi's birthday. It feels a little bit like a rite of passage for these little ones. Always happy to see you all so happy!

Mindy- We love you guys!!!

Kara- Thank you.

Jean- I'm glad that we are able to keep grandparents so updated!

Dawn- I didn't make the cupcakes. I bought them at the grocery store the night before. I'm getting pretty lazy with the last one. But she doesn't know any different, right?

Linds- Thanks!

Tamra- I just finally started updating again. I know you are a sucker for cute bedding. :)

Emily- I use a Nikon D80 and that is one of the pools in our neighborhood. We have 3 pools to choose from! It's so fun. Come and visit us! :)

Kayla- I actually put her hair in one big ponytail last night. I can't believe it is long enough! She's growing up!!

Jana- It is. Getting a gown is such a big deal. I had to explain that to Jay...and he understood when he saw it on her.
