Of course, we celebrated. Our original celebration station, Maggie Moo's, has closed down. So we ventured on over to Yobe Frozen Yogurt and ended Josiah's year in a happy way. He can't believe that he's a 1st grader now. And, quite frankly, neither can I.
He started off his kindergarten year in public school and had a pretty rough time. The day that I walked out of the room as his teacher held on to him while he screamed and cried, begging me to not leave him was one of the worst mommy experiences so far. I wish that I would have grabbed his hand and said goodbye to his class that day. But we stuck it out until Thanksgiving and he's been one happy camper since coming home for school. He's such a great student and catches on to things so much quicker than I ever expect of him.
Before all of his time alone with me he seemed to get lost in the mix. But he has found his voice and there is a pep to his step. I love that kid.
Happy end of the year, Josiah!!

At least your kids wanted a break, Christopher thought he could go strait to the next grade.
Yea, Josiah!!!! I'm so proud of you! You are one smart guy. In fact, I may just take you out to celebrate this week.
