I can see clearly now, the boxes are gone!

Well, most of the boxes are on the curb instead of in our house. It has been a bit overwhelming. Jay has been a huge help and has gone through a lot of the boxes while I find a place to put all of the stuff...oh, stuff. What would we do without all of this stuff? I'm so glad that we won't take it to heaven with us!!! Thank you, God!!!
Last night a good friend, Lauren, came over and helped me open all of my kitchen boxes. If it weren't for her, I'm afraid that all of the boxes would still be in there and we'd be eating take-out for another week!! I'm so grateful that she had the energy and enjoyed keeping track of how many boxes she had opened (it was a game to her). My kitchen is now put together and is the 2nd finished room in the house...all of the others are close behind!!
Tonight we ate with the Henry family. Jay and Nancy are our age and have three children the ages of our kids. We ate dinner at Jay's parent's (Pat and Helen) house and watched our kids swim in their pool. The boys had a ball and burned off a lot of energy that they had built up these last few days. Jay and I enjoyed getting to know another couple and we're so glad that God is placing new friends in our lives.
Below are pictures of boxes...and the house slowly rid of boxes (it's even better now since taking the pictures!!!) Also, there are pics of the kids tonight at the Henry's house. And...a frog. There are so many critters here!!!!! We have TONS of lizards (they are so cute), tree frogs (oh so cute), snakes, bugs, bugs and more bugs. I think that we look like we have come from a remote land and walked into Wal-Mart. We can't get over all of the new things (well, maybe I should say that I can't get over it. Jay and the kids seem to be just fine.) :)

Love the picture of Livie! Too cute. Glad to see all the boxes on the curb---I was afraid I might have to work when I got there! hee-hee!

I bet Dave & Lindsey wish they had your tossed-out boxes!! He emailed me his reservation for the moving truck---got quite a bargain! ha!

The frog looked like a pooh someone had left behind. Hee Hee. It's funn that your kitchen utensil placement resembles that of your Dalhart house. I'm glad there is a type a friend out there for you. She may be your florida coke date friend until I come visit in march and then after I leave. I think she is great! My word verification is fouvk. I think I would like to make a definition. Fouvk (foo v k) what Amy says when she sees a critter in her house.

Yes, she is a good friend. But I'm sure glad that you are coming to see me in March. Are you saving your dimes and nickels? Okay, I mean are you saving your fifties and hundreds? :)
My verification is ozpdl...definition "The kind of dog that the munchkins have as pets." (Oz Poodle)
