We decided to make fun out of a dreary day. We did actually get out for awhile and joined the library, YMCA, and we ate lunch at Moe's Southwest Grill. Oh man, Moe's was very good! It tasted like home. :) Jay and I also start with a personal trainer at the YMCA on Monday. Pray for us, ha!
Anyway, back to the real story. The boys went with Jay to Target to buy some rain boots. Of course, they came home with Cars boots and they were SO excited about them. We went to play in the rain but it stopped raining. Josiah was having fun until a fire truck drove past and he thought that it was a tiger in the woods. He is hilarious. So he ran back to the porch for cover. The rain boot thing lasted for about 10 minutes and we came inside to build that good ol' fort. They thought that the fort was the best thing they had ever experienced. We played in it all afternoon. Olivia even made her way inside and stared, wide-eyed, at the boys' "room". By the way, some of the pictures seem fuzzy because the humidity fogs up my new lens!!! UGH!! Oh well, I still like it. :)
Thanks for the fun ideas. If tomorrow is just as wet, we'll do the shaving cream thing. Or maybe we should save that for another rainy day!

I love the "cars" boots!! Too cute! Looks like you guys had a good day. Glad the tornado passed over! Can't believe you're going to have your own personal trainer!!! YIKES!
I think our "counters" are counting together. Check it out!!
That was the best day ever!!!! Looks like fun. I love the boots.
So glad the boys liked their fort. Hudson LOVES anything remotely like that--he just calls it a tunnel!! And my little Hud will put his rain boots on and go crazy in the puddles! It's like the one time he can. LOVED the pics!
A tornado?? Sounds like the rest of it was fun! I am jealous that you have a YMCA!! We were members in Wichita and loved it. I love reading your blog and seeing your pictures! I can't believe how big Olivia is. Miss y'all!
I love it!!! Forts are so much fun. The kids love making them in their bunkbed. Love the car boots, so cute. And good luck on Monday! You'll both do fine, after a couple weeks I'm sure you won't be sore anymore. Uggh I hate working out!! HA!!!
Amy, it is always a good feeling to know other "watcher's". haha I am enjoying reading about your settling in and I love the pictures.
