God Cares About The Little Things

I never get tired of watching how God works. After writing the last blog, Jay came home for lunch and my stress felt like it lessened. It was nice just to have him home for a bit so that I could talk to him about what to do about Olivia. After lunch, Jay got the mail and the sweetest card was in the mail from a lady in my church. She was just telling me that she was glad to get to know me and she hopes that she can be someone that I can count on. She is such a neat lady and reminds me so much of Janette Goodwin, for those of you from Dalhart. So, Cauly and Janette, if you are reading this, I am complimenting both of you.
Anyway, I was still stressed about Olivia's ears but the note really made my day. In the note, Cauly (the lady who wrote the note) asked to read my blog. I love it when people ask to read my blog. :) I sent her an email with my blog address and after I did, I remembered that she works for an ENT!!! As I was reading advice from all of you, Cauly wrote and told me to call the ENT that she works for. I called and made an appointment and can't tell you the peace that I feel now. I know that ear infections seem like such a small deal compared to so many other things in this world, but it is a big deal to us. I just have a good feeling now and can't wait to tell Jay the story. :) I decided to blog before calling Jay. Ha ha!
Before I go, I want to tell you the very first line in Cauly's note to me: "Don't you just love the way God sends new people into our lives!" I do!!! And thank you, Cauly, for letting God use you. You could have waited a few days to send the note and we would have missed out on all of this "God stuff". Plus, I probably wouldn't have written a blog with you as one of the main subjects. Ha ha!
Thank you, Lord, for caring about things that we care about. The economy might not be great, there are people who are starving, there are wars going on, and you still care about Olivia's ears. You have got the whole world in your hands!

Amazing story! That is the second case of God working I have seen in the last few days. That gives me hope that he reveal himself to us soon.

That is awesome! God is just amazing...

My thoughts.... just walk where you can see... Walk it out... whatever that is...So, I agree with Marcy - trust your instincts - God wired you to care for your children...

Isaiah had terrible ENT problems. Three surgeries by the time he was 3 1/2 - it is hard and God does care....I will be praying for the little ears in your house.

What a great story! Thank you for sharing what God is doing. And, I just had to add, one of the things we miss most about moving away from home is...DR. WALSH!!!! I don't know if there are any better than her out there. Keep us updated, I am wondering if Nathan is going to have that same issue.
