Isaac loves to give me notes. This is his note from yesterday morning. I got a big kick out of it and laid it on the bathroom sink (as I was getting ready for church). When Jay got home and saw it, we had a good laugh together.

Hot Mom!Ha ha! He has no idea that what he wrote is hilarious. He just wrote words that he knew how to spell. Hot and Mom. :) Oh, and don't forget the exclamation point!
Speaking of Hot Mom! We went to the park today with some of our friends. It has been pretty cold the past few days and I left the house in a very warm sweater. Boy was I surprised when we got there and people were wearing shorts! I was one Hot Mom!!!

Hey, Amy! I'm watching TLC and there's a story on there I'm not sure you've seen. It's the Duggar Family and they have 17 children--with one more on the way. They homeschool and go to homeschool conferences. You need to attend some and see if you can meet them!

Hot mama!!! lol - so sweet! I found some of Ryan's leftovers from a craft today as I was cleaning house after the movers left....(sniff sniff)....and just thought I am so blessed with my children. If I cried over glitter and plastic - I'm going to be a wreck with a note!

I just got caught up on my favorite family blog. You and Jay are the sweetest parents!! How you adore those children and each other just makes me all teary eyed. Ok, so it isn't tooo tough to make me cry! But it is wonderful to see a family that delights in the blessings they have right now and not have to look back at missed opportunities to give thanks. I love it that you all are in our midst now! Happy Thanksgiving.

When Josh was very small, that song "One Hot Mama" by Trace Adkins was popular. He would tell me "you're one hot mama" and once, when he must've been worried that Jody was feeling left out, he said, "and you're one hot daddy too!"
