Bedtime Prayers

I thought that I should post the boys' prayers for this evening. Isaac has really gotten into praying and really likes LONG prayers. After he finished praying the other night he said, "That was a really long prayer!" I think that he was proud. I got a good laugh out of it.
Isaac: "The Lord be with you. (and we respond..."And also with you"...you know, he is Anglican now, ha!) Let us pray. God, you are a great God. We love you because you are the biggest and you are the most powerful. Jesus, you died on the cross for our sins. You died on the cross because we were rude. Thank you for saving us. Drive from us all the snares of our enemy. Amen."
Josiah: "God, thank you for Kyle and Tamra. Thank you for Andrew, David, Ryan and Morgan. Thank you for strawberries, cantaloupe, Daddy's glasses, and for our food. Ahmen."
I love this age. They are so goofy but still so innocent. I'm trying to soak it up!!

First Sunday at New Grace Church

Today was a very special day. It was our first Sunday at New Grace Church and the church body's first Sunday in our new church building. It was very exciting! It was also very tiring! It was so neat to watch this group of people go from losing their church building almost two years ago, to seeing them walk into the building today worshiping God for where he has brought them. What a growing experience! We are so blessed to be here.
Jay did a wonderful job. I got to church on time with 3 kids. Isaac had a blast. Josiah promised not to cry and did great. Olivia was named "Princess" by the nursery workers. We all had a great nap! :)
Olivia barely made it through her bottle before nap time...she actually did fall asleep while drinking it. The boys put on a puppet show for us before they took a nap and it was quite entertaining.
We have NO evening services. What?? Oh man! It is so nice to have a whole afternoon and evening as a family. Why didn't someone tell us this? Hee hee!

Cute critters

Seriously, these little critters in Florida are so cute!! I finally found a tree frog to take a picture of last night. I wanted to catch him but I decided to just let him be. The boys also found a gecko for me at the pool today...they are EVERYWHERE! We have to make sure that our doors are closed so that they don't get in the house. They are so much fun!! So, I'm sharing pictures...am I a hick from the sticks, or what? Ha!
We have stairs in our house. I was a little afraid of Olivia climbing them but she really doesn't pay attention to them. She started climbing them for the first time yesterday and cried because it was too hard, so cute!!! Can you tell that I love my baby girl???
Also, today our church walked the cross from the high school (where they have been meeting for the past two years) to the new church building. We joined them and had a worship service together. Isaac and Josiah were so excited because their buddies Ian and Sean were there (their parents and I have decided that our boys should not sit by each other in church...they had too much fun, ha!)
We went to the pool later on with two couples from our church...Ian and Sean included. :) Olivia got in the swimming pool for the first time. She did great as long as we held her close. I'm being brave and posting an awful picture of me in the pool. Only because I think that Olivia will make up for it with her cuteness. :) I like smiley faces. :)
And...last, there are some pics of the boys riding their bikes on our LONG driveway and of Olivia with us. Enjoy!
P.S. I worked really hard at getting all of these pictures in order but it was all done for nothing!!!
P.S.S. Olivia drank real milk for the first time today...it didn't even phase her! Cheaper food for Olivia, here we come!! :)

The Beach

I know! I am way too into this blogging thing. Actually, I just like pictures and we are taking lots of them since we have all that great scenery. Oh...I think that I'm going to get a new lens for my camera this weekend...so you'll get to see lots MORE pictures. :)
We went to the beach with some friends from Dalhart the other day. I never posted the pictures and didn't want to leave them out, hee hee!

Oops! How could I forget to post the picture of the frog?? :)

I can see clearly now, the boxes are gone!

Well, most of the boxes are on the curb instead of in our house. It has been a bit overwhelming. Jay has been a huge help and has gone through a lot of the boxes while I find a place to put all of the stuff...oh, stuff. What would we do without all of this stuff? I'm so glad that we won't take it to heaven with us!!! Thank you, God!!!
Last night a good friend, Lauren, came over and helped me open all of my kitchen boxes. If it weren't for her, I'm afraid that all of the boxes would still be in there and we'd be eating take-out for another week!! I'm so grateful that she had the energy and enjoyed keeping track of how many boxes she had opened (it was a game to her). My kitchen is now put together and is the 2nd finished room in the house...all of the others are close behind!!
Tonight we ate with the Henry family. Jay and Nancy are our age and have three children the ages of our kids. We ate dinner at Jay's parent's (Pat and Helen) house and watched our kids swim in their pool. The boys had a ball and burned off a lot of energy that they had built up these last few days. Jay and I enjoyed getting to know another couple and we're so glad that God is placing new friends in our lives.
Below are pictures of boxes...and the house slowly rid of boxes (it's even better now since taking the pictures!!!) Also, there are pics of the kids tonight at the Henry's house. And...a frog. There are so many critters here!!!!! We have TONS of lizards (they are so cute), tree frogs (oh so cute), snakes, bugs, bugs and more bugs. I think that we look like we have come from a remote land and walked into Wal-Mart. We can't get over all of the new things (well, maybe I should say that I can't get over it. Jay and the kids seem to be just fine.) :)

Now the fun begins....
