Campfire Fun

Our sweet friends, The Henry's, invited us over for Sm ore's last night. We had such a good time with them. They have two boys and a little girl, just like us. All of the boys had so much fun together. They played flashlight hide-n-seek and just acted like boys. The adults got to talk and just enjoy a relaxed time together. Thanks for having us over!!!

Daddy and Olivia by her first campfire. Actually, it may be all of our kids' first campfire!

I found this very amusing. I wonder if he had seen this before...warming up his behind. :)

Isaac and Josiah and their friend, the Stealth Ninja!

What's a good campfire without a little guitar music??

Happy Fun Day

Yesterday marked the 7 year anniversary of Happy Fun Day. We didn't realize that yesterday was Happy Fun Day until tonight. But luckily, yesterday was fun! We went to the ENT for Josiah and Olivia and after the appointment, we made a day of it. We went to San Marco for lunch and then downtown on the river.

The boys called this "Aslan". They were so excited!

We rode the transit through downtown. Cauly told us about this and the kids had a blast. I know the picture doesn't show them jumping up and down for joy, but I PROMISE, they were having so much fun and talking non-stop the whole ride.

We walked around this fountain and the boys chased pigeons everywhere. We also walked by the river and just enjoyed the beautiful weather.

This is all I ever wanted...to be a wife (to the guy behind the camera) and mommy! I love my life.

There's Somethin' Strange in the Neighborhood...

I think that most people have a strange side to their personality. That's what makes life fun.

Josiah likes to walk around with things COVERING his eyes. That could be the reason for his many bruises! And yes, he is walking up the stairs in this picture.

Olivia would rather carry items in her mouth than in her hand. She tried to do this with a drumstick but we intercepted. Yes, I kept her from hurting herself but let Josiah walk blindly up the stairs.

And Isaac...he likes to wear anything that doesn't match. And usually it is some Buzz Lightyear item. He still likes Buzz. :)

Of course, it is only fair to tell on my kids if I tell on myself. I'm sure you could all name a few things about me. I put Jay on the hot seat and made him spill it: I wipe my feet off before I get into bed by rubbing them together. And Jay...he doesn't like anyone to touch his books!! or Mac book...or clothes...or car...or glasses...or hair.....or shoes.......

One More Post...read to the end!

Isaac loves to draw and write. Here are his latest:

This is a picture of Rachel, Kara and Mommy...in that order. Wow, girls, we are skinny! :)

He is a football fan. In fact, he was wearing his Dallas Cowboys football jersey today and I asked him why it was special to him (he wanted to do show and tell again). I asked if it was because they were a Texas team. He said, "No they are the Florida Dallas Cowboys." He looked at me as if I was just a girl that knew nothing about football.

This is a picture of "Moses on the mountain with the lightning and The Ten Commandments". I hope that Christi Turner sees this picture. Everything that she taught him, stuck. I love how each of the drawings were something he just did on his own. He's a great kid.

So is he. I never understood how my parents could love each of us the same amount. Now I know how. I love each of their personalities. Being a parent is great!! Oh, and the mark on his face, yeah...he fell about 50 times today which makes a total of about 5,000,000 falls in his short life. Gotta love it!

Okay, so this is the latest. I just can't make the blog private. I'm afraid that if I do, then I won't do this anymore. It's too important to me. :) So....I HAVE to know...who is from Pompano Beach, Florida?????? PLEASE tell me! I can't sleep at night!!!

Show and Tell

Yes, we had show and tell at home school. It was hilarious. To add a little spice to the mix, Jay decided that he and I needed to participate. It was funny because we all went our own ways to pick the items we were going to talk about. Jay and the boys all came in with their Bibles. Like father like son. I love it. I, of course, came in with baby pictures of the boys. :)

Josiah's Bible is "berry thpecial" to him because it has "wordths to sthongs in it." This is actually not a Bible. It's a devotional book that my dad contributed to. He calls it his Bible and puts it on the piano and plays music while "reading" his Bible/song book.
Isaac acted a bit shy when he got up to tell us about his Bible. He said that it's special to him because Mommy bought it for him.

Don't you like the missing tooth?

Josiah got BACK UP to tell more about his Bible. Here he is saying, "God loves a cheerful giver. Say it with me." So we repeated and had a good laugh.

Hey Good Lookin'

I had a crazy morning on Tuesday and ended up in the doctor's office with Olivia and the boys without fixing the boys hair. I really don't "fix" their hair everyday, but on Tuesday, it really needed some help! I guess that I had fussed with their hair in the waiting room and Olivia even had her turn trying to fix their hair with her little comb. Well, Isaac thought he'd be helpful when we got home and fix his own hair. This is what he looked like.

I love it! He is so proud of his hard work. He's really gotten into combing his own hair lately and doesn't want us messing with it when he is finished. So cute and innocent.

Josiah gave it a try, too.

I followed him to watch him in action.

Yes, I love you!
