Olivia the Lizard

Lizards are all over this area! My boys have been terrified of them since we have moved here. When we first moved, Isaac wouldn't even step a foot outside unless we made sure that there were no lizards close by. Now they know that lizards will run away if they step by them. Today was huge...Josiah picked a lizard up! He found the cutest little lizard that I have ever seen.

I couldn't get Josiah still enough to really take a great picture. Do you see how proud he is? The lizard was smaller than Olivia's pinkie. In fact, the boys named the lizard after their sister. Josiah referred to it as a "she".

Isaac even held "Olivia" while she was in the container...that's big for Ike.

Olivia, meet "Olivia"....Oooooo!

Aaahhhh!!! I love lizards!!!

Election Day

Election Day in the Wright House

American Flag cake...The sprinkles were flavored!! I wasn't expecting to eat blueberry/peppermint cake!

This is Josiah singing "Happy Birthday" to the flag. :)

"Mmmmm", he says!

Happy Election Day! We are proud to be Americans.

Olivia??

What will Olivia's personality be? We still haven't figured her out. But I can tell you one thing, she is loved! When she wakes up in the morning or after a nap, everyone waits to see her face!

This is her "I don't think so." face.

This is her "I'm having a good time." face.

This is her "Ooooo, I want that!" face.

This is her "Get away from me, Josiah!" face

Ready For Church and Cleaning Up The World

They are growing up so fast.

This afternoon, Jay and I were in the other room and overheard Josiah saying, "I like to go to church." He also told Isaac about what he learned in Sunday school. "Elijah went into a cave and God said, 'Hey, you can't go in there!!' Mrs. Tebo knows how to tell it. I can't really tell it."

Jay was outside with the boys this evening and the boys were "sweeping" up the driveway. Isaac said, "Daddy, we want the whole world to be clean." Our driveway is a good start!

Flips and Flops

Josiah is a natural tumbler. He's just built for it. It's so funny to watch him do somersaults and flips.

Isaac has to work a little bit harder for it. One thing about Isaac, if he can't do something, he will practice and practice until he does it perfectly! And he always figures it out. (Still Mr. Incredible...)

They make a good pair.

Josiah has been writing his name and is so proud of himself. He is left handed, so for now, he writes from right to left. I think that he does this because he doesn't want to erase as he writes.

No Kids??

Jay and I went on a date tonight. Woo hoo!!! It was nice to eat without kids and just the two of us. We went to a Japanese restaurant that we have been wanting to try but didn't want to take the kids to. I tried sushi (!!) for the first time. It was good but I'll probably never eat it again. Anyway, it was a great night and the kids are all fast asleep!!
