Pictures Of The House

Here are the pictures you have asked for. We moved in today and then Jay and I attended a dinner this evening, so the pictures were fast and furious. But hopefully it will give you an idea of where we now live. The pictures all make the walls and tile look kind of yellow, but they are all a khaki color. Please excuse all of the boxes and junk!

Looking through the door into our bedroom

into the master bath...our closets on either side of the entryway

looking onto the patio from our bedroom (this is the door behind Isaac in a photo above)

kitchen...open to living area

more kitchen...yes, the walls are green but not as bright of a green as the pictures make it look

The previous owners took the pantry out when they opened the kitchen up to the living room. So they added these cabinets and another counter top with cabinets. Also, the cabinets almost look black in these photos, but they are really a deep brown.
dining area behind the living area (and looking into the master) Again, the floor and walls are not that yellow.

Standing in the living room and looking into the formal living and towards the front door

formal living (the walls aren't blue...just the light coming from the front door.)

guest room (we had to get all new carpet in the bedrooms thanks to a pet that once lived here...yuck!)

stepping out of the guest room and looking down the hallway towards the boys room (to the right of the box) and into Olivia's room

boys room...walls aren't green

the boys make their own beds. :)

bathroom

Olivia's room...her walls are green in preparation for her new fun bedding.

You can see outside of Olivia's room into the kitchen.

still Liv's room...she has two closets

the back patio from the other door through the kitchen...we had to rip carpet out of the patio and we plan on staining the concrete

Day 10

Our last day/evening in Texas...

Olivia eating with Grandma Wright again. I'm glad I have this photo of the two of them...coffee mug and sippy cup. :)

What can I say about these friends?? These are some of the most special people to us. We've already shared so much of life together in such a short amount of time. We love laughing, crying, praying, joking, talking, singing, hoping...with them. We never get enough time with this group. We love you guys!!!

Well, that's the trip in a big, fat nutshell. Thanks for acting interested!

Day 9

My B.F.F. -- Liz

Liz's kids, Libby and Gideon -- and my 3 kiddos (I don't know what Gid was doing. He's so cute!)

back at Papa and Nana's house with Sunny

Olivia showing off for Grandma Wright (her great-grandma)

Day 8

Day 8 spent at Gee and Buff's house with my beautiful butterfly and water boys.

Day 7

The Tooth Fairy Paid Us A Visit In Texas!

Day 6

We were able to meet up with a few of our friends...but not enough of them! Thanks to those who took time out to come and see us.
(By the way, Rachel, I was wrong about being able to lighten the photos!!)

Good friends = Good times

Cari and Rachel...I love you gals!

We had a surprise run-in with some of our favorite people in the world!!!! When Jay and I were first married, we lived in a "shack" behind this couple. We spent so many evenings in their home while their 4 kids (at the time...now they have 5) slept. We love you, Stewart's!!
