Can I Still Call It "Pig Tails" If There Is Only One Tail??

I know that I've written a lot about Olivia lately, but she's at such a fun stage and so darn cute.  :)
Well, her hair is starting to grow out, so tonight I decided it was time to see if it would go into a pig tail.  It did!  What a great day for a mom of two boys and three brothers!!!  I only had one hairband in my bathroom with me, so she just got part of of the hairdo.  :)  And...it was pretty messy.  But, hey, it was my first attempt!

Here she is sucking her cheeks in.  She's always making some kind of face.

...Like this one!  I love it when she sticks her top teeth out (especially when it's a toothy kiss).

She's watching the water in the shower as she waits for her brothers to hop into it.  Oh, those cheeks!
I've been messing around with Photoshop, so that would be why the photo colors keep changing...no, nothing is wrong with your computer, I just can't decide what I like. :)

You are so good at photography! I love all your photos, and I like how you have put the 'vignette' (SP?) around some of the black and white's. I'll have to ask Bill if our program can do that...we don't have photoshop.

That girl has some great body in her hair. She will love that when she gets older. Her looks are changing so much! I loved putting my girls hair in pig tails at that age! It just makes them look so chubby and sweet :)
By the way, great job on your pictures! Very cute.

She IS so darn cute, Amy! But I think it's just a "pony tail" if there is only one ;)

I CAN'T WAIT TO SUCK ON THOSE CHEEKS. I am going to kiss her until she cries. That pig tail makes her look soooooo much older. You told me to stop with Sadie so I'm telling you to stop with Liv.

GREAT pics! I especially love the one where she's looking in the shower. And love that pig tail. You used to do your "looks" on command at that age---and dad made you do it often. He loved his Amy Doodle!

THANK YOU for the darker/bolder/bigger font!!!!

Dad just saw these pictures for the first time tonight. He asked, "WHO is that?" When I told him it was Olivia, he said, "Uh-uh---that's AMY!" I had to convince him it was your daughter---not old pictures of you!! (Especially the B&W)

Mark and I are looking at the blog together and he said to tell you pigs only have one tail - details!

Something I haven't really noticed before...we keep looking at her sweet cheeks, but man, look at those gorgeous eyes! WOW!

I agree with the person above, pigs have only one tail, so technically you CAN call her do...pig tail.

Mindy- Thanks! Late at night!!

Brea- Me, too. I have been waiting for this day!

Ilene- Ah, I didn't know how much fun I was going to have. I was nervous when I found out we were having a girl. But oh, oh! I love it!!

Sarah- Thank you. It's called a quick edge burn.

Tamra- I LOVE how chubby it makes her look. Of course, now she is learning to pull it all out. But I will not give up!

Alexis- Ha...I guess it could be a side pony! Remember those? I bet we start seeing them pretty soon, if they aren't already in style.

Lindsey- YAY!

Rachel- What do you mean "stop"? I'm lost.

Mom- She makes the EXACT same face that I used to make. I keep trying to catch it on camera, but still haven't. If you find the picture of me making the face, save it. I want to compare.

Mom- Was it not dark before? I didn't change it.
And...I think it's hilarious that Dad thought it was me. Ahh!

Dawn- Tell Mark "Thanks!" He would know more than I would ever know since he has fathered 3 chicas!! And I really want to stick mascara on her lashes and see what they do. Just kidding, I won't!

Holly- Thanks..I was always confused about pig tails anyway. I guess that are called that because the hair kind of curls up in them.

Jacque- She doesn't hear the "N" word very often. I don't think I have ever even spanked her hand. But I'm sure she'll make up for it. She's got a look in her eye!
And thanks for the compliment...means lots coming from you!
