I wish that I had it on video! It was so cute!!!
This evening, as we were eating dinner together, our family was just having some random conversation. Jay asked Josiah a question, and Josiah whispered his answer to Isaac. Little did we know, Olivia was taking it all in. All of a sudden, she put her hands up to her mouth and started to whisper to Josiah. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen. Seriously...it was C.U.T.E. We all took turns whispering to her, and she'd whisper right back to us. She hasn't started talking yet (she's almost 18 months) and we've been a little worried about her hearing (we meet with an ENT on a pretty regular basis), so to see her do something like this was so much fun! Words just don't do it justice. My heart is melting as I type.

AAHHHHHHH...I LOVE it!! I just wish I'd been there! (Psst, Olivia...Gee loves you!)
That is really sweet. I just can't get over how pretty she is.
Amy, she is beautiful! Don't you love all of their new stuff. The whisperings, expressions..... I love it when they whisper in a normal voice. I love your "moment" you got to see of Miss Olivia.
Tammy
ALSO - I l.o.v.e. the hairdo! that is always one of my favorites.
Tammy - again.
Oh she looks so sweet ... as she does in all her photos.
Is that a new stroller in the background? :)
aaaaahhhh... That sounds so cute!
She really is beautiful!
So sweet! Little girls sure do have a way of melting hearts easily.
you've probably heard a million words of advice like this, but i'll go ahead....Josh didn't talk until around his 2nd birthday, which was strange for us b/c Hannah did everything early (typically firstborn). But she spoke things as she learned them...they were jibberish at first and gradually made more sense. Well, when Josh finally started talking, he had this huge vocabulary and it was very clear. It was like he'd just been listening (Lord knows he couldn't get a word in around big sis), storing up all of these words until he was good and ready to use them! Some things are clearly worth waiting for! :-)
Mom- Me too!!
Tamra- Thank you.
Tammy- I do. It's so fun to see something new every day. and I love the simple things that capture her attention.
And the hairdo is my favorite, too! I just wish she'd leave it that way.
Mindy- No, I just drape the fabric over it to fool all my fellow bloggers...haha...just kidding. But honestly, I always have high hopes for myself of being able to mend things. It's not gonna happen!
Emily- Thank you!
Jana- You are not kidding. She has seriously changed my life. So did my boys...but it's just different.
Julie- I hope that's the case. But I really do think that she is not hearing very well. Are we neglectful parents if we know she has fluid in her ears constantly, but we still want to ride it out??? Ahhh! Why wasn't I warned how hard it is to be a parent? Oh wait, I was, I just didn't get it!
