My Little Helper

Isaac came RUNNING out of Children's Church tonight grinning from ear to ear with a gift in his hands. He couldn't wait to get home and show what he had made for me. When we got home, he made me sit down and very seriously presented me with his gift.
In his package were little cards, each one describing ways he would help me this week.

Monday: "If we go on a walk and I see a blind person, I will take them by the hand and lead them home."

Tuesday: "If I meet a little girl, I will tell her about Jesus."

Friday: "Oh yeah, I'll help you sweep."

Saturday: "I'll help you clean the potties."

Sunday: "If we find an arrow, I'll clean it."

I asked him what happened to Wednesday and Thursday, but he didn't seem too concerned.

Hilarious! I love this age of little boys! Do you have a blind person in the neighborhood? Do you frequently find arrows?
How sweet.

No blind people. There is, however, a sign in the neighborhood next to ours that says "DEAF CHILDREN PLAYING." Maybe he was tracking off that.
And the arrow, isn't that hilarious? We must have gone arrowhead hunting or something. :)

Rori probably thinks I'm nuts because I just laughed at my computer.

We used to find arrowheads from time to time growing up in the Ends of the Earth (Arlington).

Amy, I am so relieved that Isaac is taking the hardest jobs off your hands.....you will have so much extra time this week. I can't wait to hear what you did with all your time!!!
That sweet boy can come help around here anytime!!!!!

***LAUGHING HYSTERICALLY***
I love the "IF" in those mommy's helpers. IF I find a blind man...so cute! And I like the taxing nature of it all....IF I find an arrow...
At least you get clean potties this week! I love Isaac and his serious nature which makes me laugh!!

This is priceless!!! Ricky always enjoys your posts. . I will have to share! Speaking of which, can you add Ricky to your blog list? Strange question, I know! However, I am lazy and he has a gmail email so it logs him back into blogger every time he checks his email. Which means I have to log in very time I want to check your blog! I know. . .like I said. . I am lazy! His email is ricky.garzon@gmail.com if you don't mind!

that is so funny, Isaac is so creative and boy does he think big! I hope you find an arrow and a blind person he can help it might start a new non profit agency HTBCA (helping the blind clean arrows). How is Olivia doing since her tubes?

Zach & Shanna are here and Shanna made me read this out loud to Zach and Dad. Zach said, "The best explanation for this is that he is Jay's child." LOL!

Kayla- No blind people yet. We did, however, find an arrow. But he just gave me a weird look when I asked him to clean it.

Mindy- He's so serious. I love this age, too.

Jay- What are you doing commenting? :)

Sam- I used to go arrowhead hunting with my grandpa in the Middle of Nowhere...Borger, Texas.
And Rori still hasn't accepted my friend request on Facebook...so I'm not talking to her.

Katy- Oh man! You always make me laugh.

Mom- Thank goodness he hasn't remembered the promise to clean potties. I'm not ready for that help just yet. :)

Kallie- Did I remember to add him??

Allison- Jay and I had a good laugh over your idea.
Olivia is doing great. She is starting to talk and noticing simple noises that she must have never heard before. Thanks for asking!

Mom- I had to explain that to Jay.
