We are Doctor Bound

It's Thursday night and a lazy thunderstorm is rolling southeast towards Dumas and the rest of the Panhandle. Amy and I sit in the dimly lit living room catching glimpses of lightning in the distant sky and shaking our heads at Josiah's obstinate bedtime routine. I think he gets out of bed about twenty times every night and gets about that many "chastisements."
What is really on our mind tonight is the doctor visit we have scheduled in Amarillo tomorrow morning. Hoping that Amy has progressed enough to be induced tomorrow, we face east and turn to the right real subtle like with our bags packed and big brother watching friends coordinated. It's quite possible that our little girl could be here in less than twenty-four hours. We'll have to wait and see.
We'll keep you all posted. Josiah is still singing. . . poor kid.
