different booths set up with crafts and a lot of businesses. I didn't come home with anything, but the kids had a great time. I think that they received a total of 5 balloons and some more fun junk. :)
Here the boys wait their turn to pick a swimming duck and get a prize. A little girl, in line ahead of them, told me, "You might as well play. You can win 3 prizes!!!" She was excited that she got to pick out 3 things and so were the boys. One prize they came home with (from a different booth...a church) was a very LOUD whistle...thanks Journey church, ha ha ha!
One day, all of the kids will look at me at the same time. Notice, Josiah is looking...but not really looking. Gotta love it!
Here is Josiah with some of his loot. I don't know why, but when he came in the room with those pencils in his pocket, I laughed so hard. I guess that you just have to know Josiah!
Isaac wanted to show off the dinosaur that he won. He and Josiah were sweet all day long today. I love it when they get along. If they would start to argue, Josiah would say, "No, remember, we need to be kind." One time he screamed at the top of his lungs (okay...so they did have a couple of moments today), "WE NEED TO BE KIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I'm not sure he quite got the meaning.

Why can't we all think like Josiah?! So sweet. It sounds like you had a great day - wish I could say my girls acted like your boys today, but we were far from it! Luckily for them I didn't have a camera or a tape recorder to document our day (:
Okay....I'm laughing hysterically!!!! First, over Josiah and the pencils in his pocket. Secondly, over their sunglasses. Thirdly....all I can say is "like mother, like son!!!" Don't you remember riding in the back of the station wagon with your brothers? You were singing, "Jesus Loves Me" so sweetly and one of your brothers bothered you somehow. In mid-song, you SCREAMED, "STOP IT!!!!!" and then picked right back up with the song where you left off. Kind of like screaming, "WE NEED TO BE KKKKIIIIIINNNNDDD!!!"
Now...do you see why those days become so special in your minds---later?
I can not stop laughing. I love Josiah's picture with the sunglasses and pencils in his pocket. It reminds me of a man I know. Isaac your dinosaur is awesome!!!! I love it when kids are sweet with eachother even in a loud and forceful way.
i like the phrase in the first caption, "and some more fun junk."
Oh how I miss you and your family!!! I'm rolling picturing Josiah. I love you Siah. Love the pencils.
Love the loot! I miss the days when pencils and a plastic beaded necklace would make the day. Great shades boys.
