Sleep Tight

My babies are sleeping. It's so peaceful. I don't think that I have any pictures of Olivia sleeping in her bed, but tonight I had to get one. She usually sleeps with Josiah's Nemo pants but tonight she chose her first toy to sleep with. It is a dragon puppet. She wouldn't let go of it and I think that holding it made her feel better. If you think of it, pray for Liv. I think that she has another ear infection...which means we will probably be taking her to get tubes put in and adenoids removed. :( This is when it's tough to be a mom.

She is a good sleeper. Olivia means "peaceful".

I love this guy. He wore two sets of pajamas tonight. He wanted to wear the "shark" pajamas but decided he needed some long-sleeved pajamas on too, "just in case it is cold in the morning". We live in Florida...the boys don't even have comforters on their beds because it is too hot. He was sweating when I checked on him. :) But it really is cold outside.

Ahhh...he is so busy. But right now, he is still. His lips look the same as they did in his sonogram picture. I never knew how much joy my little Josiah would bring to me.

I went up to Josiah's room to take him to the bathroom (still working on potty training at night). I pulled back his blanket and this is what I found. HA! He has a cat, a book, and a car. I guess that he didn't like his toy that he chose for bedtime, so he got out of bed and snuck these under the covers.

so sweet. I love to watch the babies sleep.

The other night I woke up at 2am and Ryan was in the middle of Bret and I! Never heard him - he just showed up. So Bret carried him up the stairs, and put him back in bed. Then at 4am - I rolled over and there he was again! Poor guy is so scared.

Aw nothing sweeter than sleeping kiddos. SO precious and peaceful.

Those are sweet pictures! I always want to take a pic of Karter but I'm afraid he'll wake up if I do. Once he is woken up he is a beast to get back to sleep. Maybe I'll try tonight! You have motivated me with these cute pictures.
I hope Olivia is feeling better today. Poor baby.

Liv looks so peaceful; you would never know she didn't feel well. I noticed Forrest behind Ike in his picture. It amazes me that all your kids had jammies on. Addie refuses to sleep in anything but a diaper, no matter how cold it is outside. What a sneaky little guy Siah is! That cracks me up!

I love sleeping kids! I love holding them until they are asleep and then praying over them - sweet times! Sidenote - Is Olivia's hair curly in the back?

Mom, thanks! I did have sweet dreams. And thanks for praying for O.

Kallie, I'll have to look at your sleeping post.

Mindy, Oh, poor Ryan. I hope that he gets adjusted really soon. My boys are still a bit scared to go upstairs alone. But they sleep just fine now. Tell Ryan that we'll say a special prayer just for him tonight.

Marcy, YES! I bet Tyron enjoyed watching baby Jesus sleep, too. :)

Julie, Maybe I need to take more sleeping pics. It really is my favorite time of the day. :)

Kara, I'm anxious to see pictures of you new sleeping baby. Ahhh...nothing like holding a newborn while they sleep on your chest.

Tamra, Did you do it?? I don't know why I don't take Liv's pictures while she sleeps. She really does stay asleep.

Lindsey, Isaac can't sleep without Forrest. He's our constant, dusty companion. Maybe he is the cause of Isaac's allergies...hmm....

Dawn, I love praying over them then, too. And yes, Olivia's hair is VERY curly. But when she sleeps, it all flattens. I hope that she doesn't lose the curl like Josiah has.

Jana, Yipee!
