Here are some updates:
Chica cheeks is doing great!!! It's so fun to watch her hear things that she never heard before. Like her sippy cup squeaking after she takes a drink. :) She has started saying words. In fact, Jay doesn't even know about this, but tonight she said "yellow"!! I had Josiah and Olivia in the car while Isaac was at t-ball practice. Josiah said "yellow" instead of "lellow". I was so proud of him and he said it over and over again. All of a sudden, Olivia blurted out "Lellow!" Yay!! We clapped first for Josiah, and next for Olivia. What a proud moment. (All of this going on while Isaac hits the ball so far that the coaches had to make all of the kids in the outfield move back. :))
We got the house!!! I can't believe it! It's funny because tonight in Jay's choir practice, a couple went on and on about how two sets of their grown children had tried and tried to get houses listed as short sale. It just makes us feel more like this is a gift from God. The house will be inspected on June 5th. We close on June 30th. We head back to Texas (and New Mexico :)) on July 1st. We come back on July 10th. We paint, fix up and move. We need to be out of our townhome on July 30th. Wish us luck. Wait, no! Pray for us! We are so excited.

YIPPEE...for Isaac..way to go, homeruns are coming soon! for Josiah..growing up so much, I will miss being 'melson". for Olivia, a whole new world to hear, and mimic..yellow! for Amy and Jay..great house..do we still need our air mattresses when we come? :) (oh I wish I was serious!)

Yeah!!! What wonderful news you have to share. I'm sure hearing Olivia saying some new things makes the turmoil a little easier. I can't believe how big Josiah looks - maybe it is the haircut.
I know home is where your family lives, but I am so excited that you will all have a house of your own...wonderful! I know you are anxious to nest!
Yellow, lellow and an outfield ball? WOW! I'm so proud of you Josiah, Olivia & Isaac! AMAZING! I love, love, love the trees in front of the house! Beautiful! I'm praying for a king-sized bed in your guest room.

Jean- Isaac wants to play flag football now! Ahh! Olivia is a much happier baby. And Josiah is so proud that he can say yellow. I think that he could have said it all along, he just really thought the word was lellow. Kind of like how Isaac thought that thumb was fumb and finger was thinger. :)
Mindy- I am SO ANXIOUS to get my own house. I really do just feel like a renter right now. I think that I will really relax once we are settled in. Now if I can just settle as quickly as you did!
Mom- We love the trees, too. They just need a really good trim!
Dawn- I just can't believe it! Those snakes were huge!
