Yes. But it is much, much needed! I have a busy little girl who needs someone else to entertain her while I teach her brothers. So, once a week, Olivia will be attending "Busy Bees", a Mother's Day Out program. Busy Bees is held in our church and right across the hall from Jay. So maybe I didn't let her go too far from the nest after all! Today was her first day, so I had to take some pictures, of course.

Munching on some Cheerios before heading out the door.

I think that this is a Kae-Lynn or Kenedee outfit. Ring a bell, Dawn?

She is the only girl out of 8 kids in her class. So we had to make sure she looked like the princess.

She had a blast today and couldn't wait for her nap! haha

I made the morning just a fun time for the boys before we start school. First, we went to the park. Josiah learned how to swing himself! Yes!

After the park, we went to get a "blue drink" from Sonic. Then Isaac went to get a much needed hair cut.

Then to the pool!
I love 4 year olds. He could care less that he has on pink goggles.

He's getting a little braver and letting go of the side of the pool. He even puts his head under the water now.

He's so cold that his lips are blue! Just kidding...Sonic.

This kid would hang out in the pool all day, every day.

He started swimming under water on his own this year. I told him that Ms. Mo (his swim instructor in Dalhart) would be so proud of him. He was the kid in his class who sat on the side of the pool and shook his head "no" at Mo for two years.

His favorite thing is to go underwater and look through his goggles.

After the pool, we went to Chick-fil-a. Kids choice...I PROMISE!

Olivia's artwork. They did "blue dots" today? haha

Olivia's outfit is precious! She is getting so big. I mean growing up! Looks like a fun day for all. Isaac, your hair really grew fast. Didn't it? Congratulations, Josiah! You are now an expert swinger. The pool looks very inviting. Isaac, Nana could never swim under water. I'm so proud of you. Josiah, you are very brave to put your head underwater. Keep having fun and enjoy your new school year!!!!!
Nana- (from Isaac) Nana, I miss you. I hope you are having very fun. Say "hi" to Papa. What are you doing? I don't know! What are YOU doing? Love, Isaac.
(from Josiah) I love you. I think, what are you doing? I don't know. I don't think I'm doing anything. Do you know what I am doing? No! Oh, I like you a lot. I love you, Nana.
(From Olivia) Nana! Nanna. Nanna. Nanna. More. Teeth. Say Nana. 2! Jump Jump! 2! Jump Jump! 2! Ball. Ball.
I did recognize the outfit and I am so glad you are using it! She looked precious! What a special time for you and the boys and I'm sure Liv felt so big to go to "school" by herself!
Why is it that them learning how to swing is such a big deal? That was HUGE for me too!
Klein needs a haircut too! Boys, you are such great swimmers!! YOu are so big and brave! And yes, Miss Mo would be proud! (:
Your blue dots are perfect Olivia!
How sweet does she look!! And what a fun time for just you and the boys.
Oh my, Olivia! The Princess of the Class! And you dressed the part! We may have to get you a princess dress to wear next time. I'm so glad you had so much fun. Did you see Daddy during your day?
GUYS! I'm so proud of your swimming! Next thing I'll hear is that you're swimming with the dolphins! YIKES!
That sounds like fun for Olivia! And she is very cute! I love the outfit! I can't believe you got so much done in a morning! It looks like the boys had a blast! And good job Josiah! I have yet to get my kids to learn to swing on their own!!!
Oh Miss O you are just too cute for words. What a great day for all of you!!
I'm proud of you for putting her in MDO. You're going to really enjoy that one day a week!
Dawn- I think when they learn how to swing, it's one less kid to have to help at the playground. ha
Kedra- I'm loving my Mondays! We all love them (Olivia included).
Mom- I think that Olivia will be my best swimmer. That girl has no fear!!
Sarah- We got a lot done. It made me take a deep breath and relax, knowing that we could get a lot of school done if we got that much fun done. :) And school only takes about an hour every day. We're good. I guess we have time to go swim after school...if it would quit raining.
Kara- We had a blast. We'll have to double up on schoolwork one day so that we can just have another fun Monday!!!
Lindsey- Seriously. I'm proud of myself. It's hard for me to let my kids go. Now Jay is trying to talk me into doing 2 days a week of MDO. haha
