Beach With Morales Family

We spent our day at the beach today with our friends, The Morales'. The kids played while the adults visited. I should have taken a final photo of the three kids and myself. We forgot sunscreen and borrowed some from our friends, but I didn't put it on us very well. We are lobster red. In fact, we went all summer long with no sunburns and now that it's Fall, we get the worst burn of all! But we sure did have a great time.

I thought she was waving to me, but I think she was actually trying to get the attention of a Morales boy. She loves those 3 guys.

There was seaweed all over the beach. I think there was a hurricane out in the ocean a couple of weeks ago and it really stirred up the waves around here. But the kids thought the seaweed was the perfect mountain building material. It made me think twice about eating sushi. :) Just kidding, just kidding.

Did you take some seaweed home for your next sushi-making-session? Did Jay explain you can only go to the bathroom in the ocean---and not the pool? Did you have some aloe vera gel for the sunburns? Does Livie just get cuter every single day???

I hope your sunburns weren't too bad. The kids really enjoyed the piles of seaweed. There's that creativity again.

Oh I am jealous of your beach trip! Some day maybe! I think your yard looks great and I can't believe that you eat sushi. I did not know that about you. I'm sorry about your sun burns. Hope your feeling better soon!

You are so darn creative, Amy! Just getting caught up on your beautiful family - tornado bottles, bead designs, soap making, nature hunts, not to mention the "real" work - your yard looks wonderful! And getting to relax in the sun with friends - perfect! (BTW - they have beautiful kids!)

Still lobstering? This wouldn't have happened had you not moved so close to the equator! :) Just teasing!
I know what you mean about sister...I always just longed for a sister but I think I wouldn't have wanted to share my mom! I cried putting up Paige's baby things the other day...part of me was not doing it sooner in hopes that they would just be switching rooms in the house. Oh well. Bring up the boy stuff from the basement. Only girls are very special.

Mom- That's a good idea...to explain that the "bathroom" is not in the pool.

Jean- sunburns are better now

Tamra- Just make sure that if you do come to the beach, you must wear lots of sunscreen in your red headed family. :)

Dawn- I don't think I can take credit for being creative. I'm just a copy cat. :)
Their kids are all gorgeous.

Mindy- I know, I know. Well, actually it happened to me all of the time while I was growing up. haha
