Our Sunday

Today was very calm and relaxed in our house. The kids and I went to the earlier church service this morning and then had a great time of hanging out before Jay came home for lunch. I rearranged the boys' bedroom and they feel like they have a whole new room. I like it much, much better. Maybe I'll take a picture tomorrow...because I know you are just dying to see it.
When we pulled in the driveway after church, I noticed a butterfly that flew right in front of the van. I guess I hit it, because it was laying in front of the van when we got out. Oops. We brought it in the house and each took turns letting it crawl on us. Isaac was so proud that he even let it climb up to the top of his head.
When Jay went back to church this evening, the kids decided (which is usually the way it goes) that we needed to make some play dough. Olivia even got to play with us. Fun night. Now Jay is off to play a board game with some of his buds. Win, Jay! Win!

Maybe it's a moth.

play dough time

She felt like big stuff sitting in the big chair and playing with her big brothers.

Josiah's bird

Isaac's happy face pancake

eyebrows...amazing enough, this is what my eyebrows used to look like before I started waxing them. Just ask Jay and my mom. hehe

Josiah kept trying to stick play dough to his face like his brother.

So did she. hahaha

Look at me!

Oh, and we also got to talk to Buff, Gee, Lala, Ryan, Addie, and Mama today. I love watching my kids talk to family on the phone. Thanks for calling, everyone! :)

Oh, your eyebrows weren't that bad. But very cute playdough creations, kids!! I wish I'd been there. And I hear that Isaac let the butterfly crawl on his belly! I love you a bushel and a peck!!

Lala really enjoyed talking to those kids tonight too! I love all your play dough creations, especially the bird and the pancake! Liv's looked a little bit like Um-D's mole, but on her forehead. Ha!

I just can't picture you with eyebrows QUITE like that! lol
Looks like fun! I think the butterfly wanted to come inside the house...maybe he just faked it and suckered you into thinking you hit him. He could be really smart. :)

You are so good to make playdough for your kids. I just let it get old and yucky, throw it out, and get more from the dollar store. I like Mindy's take on the butterfly (:

I'm cracking up at the playdough!! I love how they want to copy their older siblings!! Too funny!!
And I so had eyebrows like that. In college, I went through some weird hippie phrase...decided I was tired of plucking eyebrows...and I permed my hair (but that is a topic for a different discussion! ha!) I have the pictures to prove it...but they are in the BURN stack. *totally embarrassing* But if you really are a fellow "bush brow"...I totally can't tell. Yours look great! ;)

Mom- Well, they weren't blue, but they were bad. haha

Lindsey- They loved talking to you and the kids. I sure wish they could grow up really close to cousins!

Mindy- Well, I think the butterfly ended up being squirrel food the next day. Oops. Maybe we should have let him stay inside a little longer.

Dawn- Don't think I'm so good--I actually just made it because it was apart of our curriculum. But it really is a lot more fun to play with than the store bought kind. I remember Kara always made it and I wondered how hard it would be to make. Not hard at all.

Kayla- From one bushy brow to another--pluck on!
