Josiah asked if we could have a party tonight for dinner. 30 minutes later, this is what took place.

The boys decorated the table with some party stuff we have from past parties. They were so excited and did a mighty fine job.

They even drew extra pictures to lay on the table.

Isaac made some great place cards.

And Liv delighted us all with her wonderful artwork.

These are my party planners.

We enjoyed a nice dinner party

with some wonderful background music

with our mouths full

and some nice conversation.

Notice Jay's party hat. Isaac made it for him and drew a picture of himself wrestling with Jay. He loves his daddy.

Here Isaac is showing off his latest missing tooth (as of last night) and the place cards he made everyone. He asked each of us our favorite letter and then wrote them in capital and lower-case. He also added the first sentence he ever read, "The pig sat in the mud."

I love these people.

She was so upset that there was no more dessert.

He figured out how to make it last longer. (Don't worry all you table manners people. He got the stink-eye from me.)

He also saw that his brother didn't finish his dessert and figured he could just hop on over to that chair. No such luck, my little energy-filled-sugared-up-before-bedtime little boy.

Oh yes. You also need to see my party hat. Josiah made mine and drew a picture of me with him saying "Boo!" And I'm wearing a bow tie. hmmm
Also, he writes mirrored image. Pretty cute.

My favorite people in the whole wide world. Thanks for the party, guys!!

That is so cute---your guys are so creative!! I love the last pic...sweet family. I'm also glad you explained the bow tie.
How fun! That is great that you encourage their imaginations like that. Great job Mom! I love the accordian, it reminds me of someone else we love :) And one more thing, your bird plate on your wall is so cute! Where is that from? I have a thing for birds you know! Someone really special gave me 2 of my favorites :)
SO FUN!
Mom- And now we know that I just have two heads.
Tamra- I found the plates at Pier One. I actually broke the one that you can see in the picture and went back to get another and they were on sale.
I also love birds. I told Jay that I think I need birds in every room of our house. I wonder how I could fit it into the boys' decor?? :)
Jana- Aren't kids great? I can't wait to see how your older two interact with Christian as he gets older. It seems that every additional personality just makes life more fun.
So fun! What a great idea boys! I especially loved the hats and Elmo tablecloth. Amy, I didn't know you liked birds as much as I do. I have birds EVERYWHERE, even on my potholders!
What a great idea! Party night looks like it was a success. The kids did a great job. Isaac's two front teeth look like they are nearly all the way in. Does Josiah do the mirror image writing all of the time? Thanks for all of the beautiful pics. You all look fabulous!!!!!
What a fun time!! Josiah reminds me of my 4 year old "the dessert thief".
I'm glad you clarified on the bowtie too! lol
What a fun party....It was good to see a picture of you too! I keep intending to call but life just seems to be very unpredictable and crazy right now! Miss you friend!
