Thumbs Up!

Word to the wise. When you are cutting up carrots, slow down. Otherwise, you may cut off the tip of your thumb.

But how do you like my new nail color?

I did cut the tip of my thumb off. It was barely hanging on. I have stitches inside and outside of my thumb...even into my fingernail. It's not the brightest thing I've ever done.
But there are pros to this situation: 1.)Dishes are harder to do, so Jay has sympathy and does them for me. 2.)Bathing kids is pretty difficult, so a couple weeks off will be nice. :)
Of course, Jay already does lots of dishes and helps bathe the kids all of the time. So it's really nothing new, just a little pity. haha

Oh gosh, that almost made me puke! I can't imagine. But, I do LOVE the nail color. I need a good new fall color and you have inspired me! From now on, just buy the pre-cut carrots. That is a command.

I hope Jay has dulled that knife. Great color, though.

Oh, Amy! I'm sorry and completely sympathetic....I'm deadly with knives in the kitchen! I've never cut myself as badly as that, though. I whole-heartedly support food processors. :0)

Amy - wow! You seem so non-hurt but from your report, your are totally hurt. I'm thankful you were able to save the thumb. That should be a super cool scar. Ok-enough blood talk, I too might just puke!

You should keep that bandage on for a long time!!!

Oh I remember when I did that...dang it hurt. I didn't go to the doctor though; smart girl. I do love the new nail color. What's it called? Maybe we can match cross-country.
