Cowboys, Buffaloes, and Wolves

One from each team...

Notice Olivia's band aid on her left foot. She is very proud of it.

(Tamra, I think this is the cheer leading outfit you gave us when Liv was a newborn...or before she was born. I remember thinking how huge it looked, and now here she is wearing it. :))

Down, Set...Time's Up

Why does he have a watch attached to his helmet, you might ask?

It's a mouth guard, of course!

On My Bed

All of my family is on my bed.
We spread out from toe to head.

I love each one much more than they know.
I hope we still fit here as they grow.

We laugh at the silly things the kids say.
This has been my favorite part of the day.

3 Silly Kids

I turned my head to find this the other day.

Josiah and Olivia had a game going of Josiah burying her under the blanket and he'd come up behind her and act silly to make her laugh. They are quite a pair.

This silly pic is for Gee. Isaac made sure that I took a picture of his big tooth because Gee wanted to see it. :)

Policehero

I know, it's not a word. But Josiah was a little confused. Here is how the conversation went:

Josiah: "Mommy, can policemen pick up cars?"

Me: (Hmmm...what is going through his mind? What exactly does he mean?) "No. They aren't strong enough to pick up cars."

Josiah: "How strong are they?"

Me: "As strong as Daddy. Policemen are daddies and grandpas."

Josiah: "But they just wear a costume?"

Me: (Okay, now I see where he's going.) "No. They wear uniforms."

Josiah: "They are REAL??"

Me: "Josiah, policemen aren't superheroes. They are just people who help us."

Josiah: "Oh...but God can pick up a car."

I love it when I get to see inside their minds sometimes.

Neighbors and Sitters

Just a few photos that I forgot were in my camera:

Here the boys are delivering some more cookies to neighbors. Watch out! If my boys come to your house, they will look through your window. By the way, the neighbor never answered the door. Maybe they thought the boys were trick-or-treating with those capes on?

This is Emily, our babysitter. The kids were having a picnic with her in the front yard.

Happy Fun Day/Weekend

Every year we celebrate the first weekend in October and call it Happy Fun Day! I can't remember how it started, but we really like it. Usually we just have "fun" on the Friday of that weekend, but this year our schedule was a little crazy, so we made the entire weekend Happy Fun Weekend! I'm sad to say that I didn't take many pictures...at all. But here are some of them while we were eating at Panda Express.
