I know, it's not a word. But Josiah was a little confused. Here is how the conversation went:
Josiah: "Mommy, can policemen pick up cars?"
Me: (Hmmm...what is going through his mind? What exactly does he mean?) "No. They aren't strong enough to pick up cars."
Josiah: "How strong are they?"
Me: "As strong as Daddy. Policemen are daddies and grandpas."
Josiah: "But they just wear a costume?"
Me: (Okay, now I see where he's going.) "No. They wear uniforms."
Josiah: "They are REAL??"
Me: "Josiah, policemen aren't superheroes. They are just people who help us."
Josiah: "Oh...but God can pick up a car."
I love it when I get to see inside their minds sometimes.

Oh Siah. You are precious! And yes, God can pick up a car, although I'm not sure why He'd want to.
Love it--those wheels are just turning in that little head!
They're REAL?? That's too funny!
That is great! I think I would love to have a long conversation with that little guy. . .it would be sure to entertain! :)
And, thanks for the encouraging words! We are in a tough time but we know God will get us through! :)
I love you Josiah!
Oh I miss you Josiah! I love that they are daddy's and grandpa's.
Ryan was very concerned tonight after Y-flag football that he had a yellow gatorade. Why is it yellow? Why is there a G on it? Why - why - why....
You always have such great stories of your kids! And send me that cookie recipe you guys made - they looked yummy!
I love seeing into their little minds too! So smart to write it down to look back on it one day!!
Sweet little guy!
Lindsey- Maybe if someone was trapped under it? :)
Marcy- All of the time.
Mom- I know! He cracks me up.
Kallie-I always cringe when he starts talking to other people...never know what he'll say!
We love you guys and understand that tough time all too well. But think of us and know that there is a light at the end of that long (sometimes seems never ending) tunnel!
Jean- He loves his Nana!!
Mindy- Haha. Sometimes I want to hide in a hole and never answer another question.
I wish that all of our little guys could have grown up together. What a fun group of boys!
Dawn- Here is the recipe. But let me warn you! Do not look at the rest of the blog or else you will never leave your computer again. It's an addiction!

Emily- I'm afraid I've written too many blogs to actually make it into a book. But (hint hint to anyone who might be interested) I will pay for the book if someone else would compile it for me! :) haha
