On My Bed

All of my family is on my bed.
We spread out from toe to head.

I love each one much more than they know.
I hope we still fit here as they grow.

We laugh at the silly things the kids say.
This has been my favorite part of the day.

The picture is from earlier that morning while the kids were journaling. They all climbed on our bed that night and brought their journals and handed Jay and me our journals. What a perfect end to the day.

Amy, your are a poet! Now I know where the kids get their creativity. I think that it's wonderful(really hysterical) that the kids handed you and Jay a journal!!

I have never doubted your creativity - you always seem to amaze me! We just have a queen sized bed and on Saturday mornings or if the kids couldn't sleep we would all snuggle together in our bed. Well, now, we don't quite fit comfortably. With two adults and four kids (even though they are still small), someone is always getting kicked accidentally, or smooshed, etc. They all still love to snuggle and cuddle, but we have to resort to a little more one-on-one snuggling than before (:

Sadie sits the same way Olvia does. I love it. They will still fit as they grow, looking forward to seeing that moment. In due time of course. Let's not rush things.
